Thank you to EVERYONE who put the posters up, gallagher is now home and safe after being given back from the people who stole him! Thank you again
Laurajp
no news about gallagher. We have handed posters out everywhere and put them up where we can, hopes of getting him back are looking very doubtful. We called the RSPCA as soon as it happened and have heard nothing since! very very sad, partner and little boy are very upset
Saza
Is there any news on this little boy? Have heard that the RSPCA may be aware of possible dog napping in the area recently. Have you spoken to them?

Knaphill is on my way to/from work but I don't get a chance to stop there. However, I will have a look out and will hand out some posters as I know a few of the local businesses in that area, especially the main village.

I am so so sorry your wee border is missing. I can sadly imagine only too well how distressed you all, are especially your son, as our own terrier was stolen right under our nose during a walk at Christmas. You little man may have wandered off but however upset you are please please poster everywhere you can as fast as you can even consider taking out an advert in your local paper(insurance companies like Tesco's often will pay for adverts as part of your cover) or if you have no cover get them to run a story or small article with picture as you reach a lot of house quickly that way in a wide area. We did this and got out terrier back within three days using this sites recommendations and help. Make that puppy to hot to handle poster not only vets and parks but bus stops, post boxes, pubs, Macdonald and petrol stations. These all took flyers for us for no cost. Get people talking. We also waited outside Tesco's and Sainsbury's and gave flyers to all the leaving shoppers.

Sorry to see your pet is missing. Someone will try and make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days, so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog & give them a poster. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
