He was fine with them b4, so was obviously taken in one. Good luck to all who have lost their pets. Thanks again for all your help lots of love

- It was the out of hours service, I think it was better when the police dealt with it, they do 24 hr. service. Thank yopu so much for help & support. I hope everyone else is as lucky as me & gets reunited with their dogs

- Nina...understand your feelings...but it could be the out of ours dog warden that took the call...so we will look into this...or more likely as dog wardens are usually out on the road that someone else from the council answered the phone and did not check...or pass message on... We know of this happening so many times!

- Message for Dog Warden in the area Kelty went missing in. 'Are you really taking your job seriosly' perhaps you need some tuition from the good Dog Wardens that work with doglost.

- Kelty was found a few miles away rummaging in someone's bin in the middle of the night. This person called the dog warden, next day. DW said they had NO record of a dog matching this description, missing, despite the owner having registered the dog missing with the DW.. Finder called local vet who had a poster and regognised the dog from it. Calls were made and Kelty was brought home.

- Just spoken to owner. She's been trying to put a photo on but is having difficulty. She'll send it to me and I'll do it for her. Kelty was stolen from outside the Florist shop in Todmorden. Authorities have been notified but of course you're not supposed to lose a dog at the weekend. Have advised postering the area asap.

- Sorry to see Kelty is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog, give them a poster and keep in touch with them every few days.. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
