- So sorry to see that Goran was found, and not alive. Sorry Lola, my comments that the dog had been stolen because he lived outside, were not aimed at you and your care of Goran, but it is a fact that some uninformed people take this course of action if they think they know better than the owner. You did explain the circumstances to me.I should have worded my comment more clearly. God bless and keep Goran. May he rest in peace. xxLast edited: 2010-09-02 08:24:55 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland

- Sorry, maybe I didn´t explain well the situation. Goran was not kept outside. He was living outside, in a good plastic garden house with plenty of food and drink during THE GOOD DAYS in summer, having everyday a big walk and total attention. He didn´t want to stay inside because he was very jealous since my son born a year ago. I´m working all day, and ALWAYS I have tried to do the best for him. I took him with 1 month old in Spain and I didn´t have any doubt to bring him with me when I found a job in UK. NOBODY can decide to separate a dog from his owner because thinking that the dog is in not good conditions because IT IS NOT TRUE. And of course, I´m going to do everything in my hand to can find him. If anyone took him, this person will pay for it.Last edited: 2010-09-07 06:16:40 by Angus

- Sent a new poster and some small fliers to Goran's owner. Goran was kept in the garden outside and being 11 years old, perhaps someone felt sorry for him and decided to give him a home where he would be cosy indoors, being an older dog.The metal fence around the garden has a hole in it where he had either escaped or was taken. - Hi, just to offer a little hope. We found our dog Annie with the help of Dogs Lost and lots of lovely local people. We also put flyers through people's doors in case they hadn't seen the posters. I'll keep fingers and toes crossed for his safe return.

- Have emailed advice. Sorry to see Goran is missing. Someone will try and make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days, so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog & give them a poster. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
