- Czar got cornered at the RAF base in Portreath - thanks to all the posterers who had been out in force his face was known! They herded him into an enclosure and called his owners. Huge relief all round and many many, thanks to the small army of people who helped find himLast edited: 2010-08-25 17:10:13 by Aurildisww

- Delighted that Czar is now home, and safe. Well done owners for being so proactive, and yet again poster power proves its worth.

- Owners have just got back from Porthtowan but there were no more sightings. Apparently Czar has been seen by quite a lot of people there over the last couple of days and the dog warden tried to catch him earlier today but he is too wary of strangers. By the time anyone called his owners it was too late. Hopefully tomorrow

- Sorry read the area incorrectly - contact the Belgain Shepherd Society of GB who cover the South - they too have a rescue section on their wed site.

- Please contact the Northern Belgian shepherd Club (they have a web site) in case they have been contacted regarding your dog. They have a rescue co-ordinator who could probably halp you.

- Still no sign of him. They have put lots of posters around where he was last seen and are now planning to poster further afield. I think the posties are all looking out for him round the lanes too.

- Sorry to see Czar is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog, give them a poster and keep in touch with them every few days.. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.

- The lady he is staying with lives in Simms Common, near Redruth, Cornwall but he is not from the area so doesn’t know it and could run anywhere. He was apparently spotted on the Cardrew Industrial Estate and on some of the surrounding housing estates yesterday evening about 9:30pm, but is quite nervous and a long way from home, which will make him even more wary. He normally lives in Liskeard but was staying nearby and escaped from the garden.
