- Keep returning to where you last saw her. Leave your scent there and food. Works wonders. Good luck

- hi Deborah i also saw the sighting of the elderly dog in Warrington and thought of you..it's only about 40 minutes from where she went missing and she could well have travelled that for in these few days? Fingers crossed it is her and she can be tracked down!

- hi sable, thanks for the contact and advice, i have already taken steps in all these areas, more or less as soon as she vanished. I also visited out of area dogs homes yesterday, nothing. It is hard because my heart is broken it is so unlike her to wander off. There was a poster on the found dogs site who sighted a dog in warrington area but cannot get in contact with them to verify the picture if you could help with this it would be appreciated.

- Hi , sorry to see Shelby is missing. Someone will try and make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days, so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog & give them a poster. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
