- Great news her family have been found. While out postering and knocking on doors finder was approached by a lady who said she was her dog and was able to describe the distinguishing feature. This little lady is actually a Pomeranian Finder had knocked at the family home a few times as was directed there by neighbours, each time there was no answer. Finder has given owner advice and stressed the importance of her wearing a collar etc. Hope they get her CHIPPED as well. When I spoke to finder earlier tonight she did say she was sure she had seen her in the area being walked and it turned out it was the same dog she had seen in the past. WELL DONE and THANK YOU to her finder for taking the time to look after her (the family dogs will be over the moon now as they were not very happy with their little guest), thanks also to the DL helper for the alert. - Spoken to her finder who is doing a great job trying to find her owner. She has been checked for a MICROCHIP and posters have been getting put up in the area, she is long haired, approx 2-3 years. Finder has reported her to the RSPCA, Out of Hours AW, DW, local vet and Police. Photo will be sent to myself a.s.a.p. This little girl could of been being looked after while owner is on holiday.
