I drove through Sydenham yesterday and up Mayow Road and i have not seen any posters at all... whether they are in the park or not, also went through Bell Green and teh whole time was looking out for posters and did not see one... i really hope they havent given up hope, or that she has been found and not been mentioned !
Millys Mum
Any news on Roxy (I've sent you an email and a text)? Is she home yet? Please could you update this page so that we can help. Have you contacted both Bromley & Lewisham Councils' dog wardens and, as suggested by ellejay, your local team of PSCOs? Can you let us know who you have contacted and where you have postered?
deedee
Hi, can i put her picture up on my facebook page, also have u tried ringing other dog wardens, ie southwark bromley lambeth, it is worth a try, good luck with finding her, i am keeping my eyes open for her, also have u put posters up in dulwich woods, alot of dog walkers use the woods,
Millys Mum
Cheyenne1 - sorry I wasn't available when you called presumably this morning. I work in a VERY busy GP surgery & we aren't able to take or make calls during our shifts. Also, I have to get up just after 6am to walk dogs before starting work at 8am. However, having just returned from a dog walk, I'm around now and for the rest of the afternoon/evening if you need or want to call me.
ellejay
Was she spoted this morning ?? or the morning of the day she went missing ?? Have you posted all down Penge high street as well as Sydenham ? Also pop a poster into the local penge police stations, as the beat bobbies or pcso's might be able to keep an eye out for her. Have you got many helpers out looking for her ?? Might be a good idea to poster Crystal Palace Park as there is loads of dog walkers over there. Wendy if you could send me some posters through i can poster round my end of Bromley all round the Bellingham and Beckenham end.

ellejqay - thanks for your help, support and good advise (also thanks for your email - I will also try to contact Roxy's owners). Owners - if you are reading this, make sure you pop into Footsies (or whatever it is called now) located at the back entrance of Lower Sydenham station. The leaseholders/club owners own their own dogs and it's quite a large area with a car park/stoage depot at the far end of the site. Also pop into Worsley Bridge School (entrance in Brackley Rd) and ask them to announce that Roxy is missing. As well as our posters, we can also arrange for mini-flyers to be produced and emailed to you. Another place to target is the Fitness First Club (although, once again, they may have changed their name) in Copers Cope Rd and opposite Kent County Cricket's second ground and just along from them on the same side is the Commercial Union Sports ground. All in all, as you are probably aware, the whole area is made up of Sports Clubs with the River Pool running through which may be providing drinking water for Roxy. And there's another Club across the way from Footsies on the opposite side of Worsley Bridge Rd (near to the former Dylon factory). As ellejay has already said, POSTER LIKE MAD and believe us, you can't put up too many. Make Roxy the best known and hottest girl in town.
ellejay
Just had a look on Gumtree, there is a female toy yorkie advertised for sale on August 31st.. no picture though.. for £175.. doe snot state reason of why selling her.. mayeb worth a look .. in Essex though. Also do try ringing Battersea dogs, Foal Farm in Biggin hill, RSPCA Godstone just in case she has been handed in there.
ellejay
Sorry to hear Roxy is missing, i am not to far from you in Bromley, more nearer the homebase in Catford end. My yorkie pup was stolen a year ago, but we got him back 5 days later, so please dont give up hope.. The best advice is to POSTER like mad, go into every Cab firm, pubs, shopping centres, shop notice boards, vets, etc If you can put mini flyers through peoples doors and on car windows, i know your not suppose to but the more eyes and all that. How did she go missing if you dont mind me asking ?? Also get a advert in the local News Shopper that works wonders for most dogs around here. Do call all dog wardens, i.e bromley incase she has been picked up, call the local council street cleaners, i think millies mum on here has their number.. i will keep my eye out for her and will spread the word.. also PLEASE PLEASE look at ALL free ads websites, like Gumtree, pets4homes, epupz, incase the worst has happened and someone has her and is trying to sell her, ( it happened with my pup) hope she is home soon x

Sorry to see Roxy is missing. Thank you for registering with doglost. If not already done so you need to contact Dog wardens, Rescues and Vets. Please try and personally visit Rescue Centres wherever possible. It is not always a good idea to rely solely on telephone calls. Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days so this is extremely important. It is also very important that you poster heavily. If at all possible please keep us updated with regards to who you have contacted and the areas in which you have postered etc. This can be done by using the + Add a comment feature. Good luck. Hope Roxy is safely home soon
