Great news about Hyper, what a relief...I had been keeping my eyes peeled studying every staffy to see if it was Hyper! I bet he is so glad to be home :)

Great that Hyper is home, finally! Please, please, PLEASE, owners, when you have found your dog, let everyone you have reported your dog to know! I know its easy to forget in the excitement but it makes everyones jobs so much easier if we are only looking for dogs that are actually still missing! Ive spent almost 2 hours this morning looking at a dog that I thought was Hyper, only to then log on here and find hes home....!

Great news!!! I'm so pleased to hear that Hyper is back home safe and sound. As Angus has already said, please may this handsome boy have a chip AND a nice new shiny tag on his collar as a welcome home present? Might I suggest that you take him along to the Paws in the Park event this weekend at The Hop Farm at Paddock Wood (near East Peckham) where he can meet the DogLost team and have a chip done at the same time! Hyper was taken from Sunny Bank on Monday. Any help with posters would be grately appreciated! He is a very friendly dog and will go to anyone

As you live on the boundaries of 3/4 Councils, it is essential that you contact Southwark, Croydon, Lewisham and Bromley's dog wardens to report Hyper as missing. And, of course, don't forget Battersea Dogs Home.

Sorry to hear that Hyper is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. As soon as a photo is added mailings will be sent out to all local helpers who will help in the search for your dog. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
