- Good news. Trap worked and collie is now in the safe care of dog warden and SSPCA.Looked like quite a young dog, very frightened but after a while manage to have food and drink and seemed to calm down. Here's hoping that he finds a new loving home! Thanks for all the help and advice.

- Sonya well done for everything you others are are doing, fingers crossed this BC is taken in by someone soon. The colouring looks like there is some tan on which would make it a Tri coloured. Good luck. Jan x

- Thanks for comments and e-mail. Dog warden is arranging for trap on neighbouring property who, I have discovered, have been feeding dog. In response to e-mail - yes that is the actual dog photographed through the window of house. I would never have been able to get that close outside. So here's hoping we can attract it back to safety and a caring environment.

- If you can't get a trap straight away, could you try setting up a feeding station to try and keep him/her is the same area? Well done by the way for managing to get a photo - hopefully someone might recognise him/her.
