Owner contacted me to say that Humphrey has been found but unfortunately it looks like he drowned on Thursday night. Run free at the Bridge little boy. My thoughts are with his family.

Thanks J MO, for the info, that particular RSPCA is only a rehoming one, if Humphrey was handed in there or anyone contacted them they would direct them to Halewood RSPCA. Jan x

Owner contacted me.Sadly its not Humphrey on the link I sent to her. Humphrey had a blue collar with tag on when he went missing.

Have been keeping an eye out for Humphrey, I usually walk on the bank at RSPB Hesketh Out Marsh, there is a good chance he could be heading this way. Hope he is found soon.

Thanks for the photo. I will poster the local vets and also take a poster yk the local paper who have in the past printed details. Will also poster at the park and ride and Sefton Council

Humphrey was last seen at about 8.00pm, 9 Sep 10, near Southport Marine Lake but actually on the beach, heading into the marshes, away from the Pier. Humphrey is in need of a hair cut and a bath so he is rather scruffy looking at the moment. He is wearing a blue material collar. No distinguishing features other than he has sharper facial feaures than the classic Westie look. He is 9 years old. He is nervous and wont come to anyone go to anyone he doesnt know.

He has not been taken to RSPCA or Leigh up to now.

Photo converted from word doc poster emailed to goldenfrodo. Fingers crossed he is found soon, if picked up he will go to Halewood RSPCA 0151-486-1706 or possibly Leigh Cats & Dog's Home 01942-671215, I'll check with the kennels.
