I have no idea why this has to happen. It never makes any sense. Please know I understand your pain; my dog also is at Rainbow Bridge. All I can say is that they know how much they are loved and are safe now. Jess will wait for you and you are together forever. Your hearts are joined forever. With love to you and beautiful Jess. xLast edited: 2010-10-18 13:18:48 by Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders

BUMPED due to an advert for missing Jess being placed for several days in the Sheffield Star and also as there was another possible SIGHTING of her on 30th September in Raisen Hall Road . Jess' owners are trying SO hard to find their lovely girl and I hope so much she is found very soon ~ PamLast edited: 2010-10-04 22:18:27 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

denise
we had to pay for the advert to be put in the star, hoping that helps her return home, also we left a poster with hallam fm and magic am again and asked them to do another call out so hope they do
denise
just to update weve been out and put new posters up with the 'reward for safe return' up, hope this helps get her back
Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
well done for getting Jess in the Sheffield Star and hopefully this will bring in some news of her ! I have now added CASH REWARD to her details.Try not to get disheartened by the posters being taken down .... this often happens ! Just try to keep replacing them or maybe laminate some and use cable ties to attach them to telegraph poles. Dont forget to keep checking with the stray kennels both locally and in nearby districts ~ PamLast edited: 2010-09-28 18:56:21 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
denise
just to update you we have put an appeal for jess in sheffield star, as the posters we are putting up are getting taken down and vandalised, it will be in the star on thurs 30th sept to 5th oct as we are not getting any sightings or phone calls at all now, also there is a reward for jess's safe return home thank you
denise
we hope so jumanji, we had a phonecal today of someone finding a dog near fletchers bakery unfortunately its not jess but the lady did send the dog in to spring street kennels
Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
Denise the sightings you are getting do show people are remembering they have seen your posters and fingers crossed one of these sightings will result in Jess returning back home ! keep up the good work x Pam
denise
hi possible sighting on elm lane so weve been concentrating around that area but not found jess yet
denise
just to update weve just been out putting fresh posters up around southey, longley, and surrounding areas, just got home, still no signs of jess
denise
on saturday we had 2 policeman come to our house saying theres a dog wandering and to go and see if its jess, the dog is on adkins road, to cut a long story short it wasnt jess, it is female, has medium fur brown, with a marking on its back like a saddle, no collar and that dog hasnt been reported by the police its still wandering, we thought they had reported it as we told them it wasnt jess but obviously not so were going to report it when we next see it, we know its wandering as we keep getting phone calls from people thinking its jess
denise
hi jumanji the dog weve seen is small, male, tan coloured cross breed not sure what with but has a curly uppy akita tail n wearing a brown collar but it growls n shows its teeth at you, iv reported it to 101, dw's and so has my daughter, still the dog is wandering and its near a schoolLast edited: 2010-09-23 09:21:13 by denise

Denise if it was my dog that was missing I would be calling the dog warden and stray kennels each day too and it is worrying that they had no record of the report you made about the other dog which is wandering about. Have you been close enough to this other dog to see if it is wearing a collar and do you know what sort of breed or mix this dog is ?
denise
just to update you, we still havnt found jess, weve been ringing dog wardens and spring street daily and was told today by dog wardens basically to stop ringing as theyd get intouch with us if they had jess, BUT we have made a report 3 or 4 times to the wardens about another dog weve seen wandering on the streets and no-one has been out to collect the dog and when we ring to ask why they say they havent got a report of it. which means if they cant be bothered to follow up on the report of this dog, what could be happening with my dog? its so frustrating to say the least
denise
apparenylt had a sighting of jess??? on avisford road leading to forty foot pub? no sign of her when we got there but there is a dog that we keep gettin phone calls for people thinking its jess but its not, its got long fur and has a black marking like a saddle on its back, so not sure if it was this dog they saw thinking it was jess???
Millys Mum
I keep checking in on Jess's page and hoping for good news. I hope that the security guard and his/her colleagues can help get this lovely girl back home with her family. What about leaving an item of clothing that's been worn by you (slept in if necessary!) i.e. an old T shirt in the area that she's frequenting and some nice smelly sardines.
denise
spoken to a security guard that works at FLETCHERS on CLAYWHEELS LANE he said he sees jess a lot round there told him to ring me as soon as he sees her again, left some treats with him to entice her, hope if he ring it is actually jess???
Goldenfrodo
Good luck. Come on Jess, time to go home to your family.

just to update u all had 2 policemen bout 3pm about a dog they thought could be ours, they said they couldnt get near the dog coz it was timid and jumping over gardens to get away, so we went down to adkins road just off donovan and there was a lady called kirsty off wordsworth who was throwing herself into bushes and brambles to get the dog which turned out NOT to be jess but many thanks for kirsty anyway who is still keeping an eye out for jess for us, been down near ritz bingo cant see jess so please keep your eyes open thanks x

denise
apparently theres been a sighting near subway in hillsborough of dog that fits jess's description? will have to go looking that way too
denise
we have done more postering, we are doing small leaflet type posters to post through peoples doors too, just incase she goes on someones garden, we are still ringing rspca, kennels and dw every day too
denise
we are putting posters up in the area and surrounding area, we have informed local radio stations hallam fm and magic am whom have mentioned her on there station, we have informed 101, dw's, rspca, phoned kennels, put a lost dog notice on sheffield forum and facebook and gumtree.com.
Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
Jess who is a very timid dog is still missing but there have been a few possible SIGHTINGS of her in the Dryden Road / Dryden Avenue area ! Her owner has been going to these areas but so far has not seen Jess and she has also searched on some nearby wasteland. Dog warden, local vets and stray kennnels have been informed. The stray kennels called her owner when they got a similar dog taken into them but after going down to check it sadly was'nt Jess but its good to know the kennels are looking out for her ! Owner has been postering and will continue to do so. Hoping foe some news of Jess very soon ~ PamLast edited: 2010-09-12 17:38:04 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Can posters be emailed out to local helpers please.
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
We are sorry to see JESS is missing, we will do all we can to help you in your search. You need to POSTER, POSTER, POSTER the area as much as possible, WE CANNOT EMPHASISE ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF POSTERING. Great she is CHIPPED if not already ensure you contact the Chip Co and report her missing and check the details are up to date. Contact DW’s, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo). She may end up in kennels, dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone. Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW’s etc and if you have started postering. You can leave a comment in the Add a Comment box below other comments (you must be logged in). Good luck. Jan x
