  • Other Info Tilly has only been with us for less than 36 hours. She was adopted as a result of my elderly aunt's death. She doesn't know the area and is very nervous and timid. We left her in the care of my son for approx 30-40 mins whilst going into town to have an ID tag made for her. She ran out of the back door when my son opened it to put the rubbish out. She is wearing a green tartan collar and a black flea collar.

wonderful news Annette,x
Annette
It's now 17.15 and I'm so delighted and happy to tell you that Tilly is just now back with us. She literally found her way back to our garden - I'd left her bed and a bowl of food outside. It took me about half an hour to tempt her to come near me, but she's back and currently eating a huge dinner and can't understand what all the fuss is about. Thank you so much to everyone for all the help given!
Goldenfrodo
Bumped because of sightings. Come on Tilly, we all want you back home.
Annette
We had three reported sightings of what we believe to be Tilly yesterday in the Glynarthen area about a mile from our home. With the help of Wispa, we have narrowed the area she is in down to a rough 5-6 mile circuit. We had no luck yesterday finding her, but I believe she's now looking for food. We are today going to camp out in the area she was seen in yesterday and see if we can spot her and maybe tempt her out with food. Please keep ringing in with any sightings - we need all the help we can get!
DogLostOwl
Have advised owner to source a trap as this will probably be the best way to go. All Wispa and I can do at the very best is to find which area she is running around. There have been sightings over fields but she runs when she sees anyone. Owners have worked hard with publicity. This is not Llandysul itself but a very rural area near Rhydlewis.
Goldenfrodo
Thanks Owl. I knew this was much nearer to you.Good luck. Hope Tilly is found soon.
DogLostOwl
Will make contact and offer to take Wispa there to see if we can get a scent. Torrential rain doesn't help but we can give it a go. Also will inform offline helper Cery who lives nearby.

Since Tilly went missing, we have given out posters to our neighbours, the local farmers, the postman, any dog-walkers in the area, the local petrol stations, and two post offices. We have reported her missing to the Police, the Dog Warden, the local vets, two separate animal rescue shelters, and the RSPCA (both local and national). I am desperate to find this poor little dog and welcome any help or suggestions given.

Will contact owner tomorrow.

We are sorry to see TILLY is missing, we will do all we can to help you in your search. You need to POSTER, POSTER, POSTER the area as much as possible, WE CANNOT EMPHASISE ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF POSTERING. Contact DW’s, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo). She may end up in kennels, dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone. Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW’s etc and if you have started postering. You can leave a comment in the Add a Comment box below other comments (you must be logged in). Good luck.
