- Shadeykev, thanks for your message. I'm sorry it isn't your boy, they look so similar.
Keep lots of posters up so that everyone knows he's still missing then you'll have lots of eyes looking out for him.
I'm putting him an advert him in The Countryman's Weekly magazine this week. I'll put a message on his page when it's published in two weeks time. That will get him wider coverage in case he's been moved out of the area. - 2010-10-12 20:01 Jenni S
- Shame the Hartlepool dog isn't yours - he looks lovely too. We are still keeping an eye out for him from the stables. Hope you find him soon.

- To anyone who may see him, just say Brisk, or Brisko to him and he'll always come running. He's not nasty and is always up for a fuss, that way we can tell if he's ours :)

- Hi Sue,
At first, I thought it was my dog. But looking closer, this dog looks to be much older than our Akita. Also, it might sound silly, but the ears are pure white, and looking at this photo, this dog has little brown patches. So unfortunately, this isn't Brisko, but I very much appreciate you letting us know.
Also, goldenfrodo, we have given the police and local dog wardens the descriptions you mentioned but as of yet, no luck.
Jenni, thanks for doingthat for us, I very much appreciate this.
I have looked around for him, and the neighbours, but no luck at all. I'm just hoping that who ever has him, is in fact looking after him. - 2010-10-12 17:09 B30

- Although this is not the area where I live, I keep my horse at stables in NG21 and have printed out poster for noticeboard there.

- Sorry to see Brisko is missing. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. POSTERS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. Start postering now!. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days, so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog & give them a poster. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description. Good luck. Last edited: 2010-09-27 09:51:44 by Goldenfrodo
