- Had a long chat with owner tonight and updated the details. Cal is MICROCHIPPED and the Chip Co have been contacted. Given owner advice etc and will email more detailed info/advice with local contact numbers to try. Posters have been getting put up in the area which is great. Owner is waiting for more photo/s to be developed and hopefully they will have a better photo of Cal. Jan x

- Thanks goldenfrodo for trying to contact Cal's owner, I also tried at lunch time today. I've checked with Halewood RSPCA in case she had been handed in, she is not there but owner has been contacting them daily which is good news. I've uploaded a photo and updated the details. Fingers crossed she is found soon if not already. Jan x

- Sorry to see Cal is missing. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. POSTERS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. Start postering now!. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days, so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog & give them a poster. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description
