This is AWFUL news! Why on earth don't farmers use tranquilisers instead of a bullet??!!! I hope owner got Ozzy back? This is so heartbreaking.

Sadly the owners found out over the weekend that Ozzy was shot by a local farmer last week, because he was sheep worrying.
Thank you to everyone for yor help, the owners are very greatful for it.

owners have contactd the police Dws local rescues and vets, and doing a great job postering with the lovely picture they provided . Owner was in the garden playing with her dog, popped into the house for just a minute, when she came out Ozzy had vanished from the secure garden. owner is very sure he jumped out chasing after pheasant, but he has not done this before.Where he went missing from is between a village called littleworth and Faringdon on the A420. I will email out advice sheets Last edited: 2010-10-06 18:15:15 by Mollychops

Sorry to see Ozzy is missing and thank you for registering with DogLost. If not already done so you need to contact Dog wardens, Rescues and Vets. Please try and personally visit Rescue Centres wherever possible. It is not always a good idea to rely solely on telephone calls. Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days so this is extremely important. It is also very important that you poster heavily,so people are aware that he's missing. If at all possible please keep us updated with regards to who you have contacted and the areas in which you have postered etc. This can be done by using the + Add a comment feature. Good luck. Hope he's safely home soon.
