- Hello, just to let you all know that Molly has making a full recovery she jsut keeps getting better and better! We took her for a walk with a friends dog the other day, with a muzzle on and she was not comfortable at first and kept lunging at their dog but after about 25minutes she seemed to get used to the fact that he is a softy and wasnt going to hurt and was walking by his side quite hapy after a while! She's going from strength to strength and we're so pleased! We're so thankful for all your support and help and kindness it is so greatly appreciated! xxxx

- Thank you for the update Charlotte. I am really pleased that dear Molly is on the mend, it is only natural that she should be frightened of other dogs after what she has been through. I do hope that the local papers print her story as local pet owners should be aware that these evil scum are about. Sending Molly all good wishes for a full recovery. xxx

- Hello, just thought I'd let you know that Molly is doing exceedingly well and is healing nicely her lung has healed and she is doing brilliant. We've been so lucky that she is still the beutiful dog that she was when she went missing and she is still so loving and loyal and psychologically not affecting other than not liking other dogs but we have been offered training classes to help her with that. If you're on facebook please follow our group http://www.facebook.com/?sk=2361831622#!/group.php?gid=165990483414479 as we will be updating as to how we get on with the RSPCA and the Police as we intend to take this matter further becase I cant understand why the RSPCA did not charge the man that had her even though they know he has a record of animal cruelty! Big thank you again for all your help support and love it really does mean alot to us and Molly xxxx

- Hi thanks you for your messages i am going to the police and the local paper tomorrow even if they dont cover the story as a main story I just want people to be aware that this sort of thing does happen! Hopefully she should be home with us soon i rang the vets about an hour ago and apparenlty she is happy but whining and wanting to come home so hopefully tomorrow I will know more and will defeinately keep you all posted! xxx

- So sorry to read your story and so sickened but obviously relieved for you to have her back. I was going to ask why they didn't do a citizens arrest but then of course it would discourage anyone from handing in a similar dog - it's a hard position for the staff to be in. Everything crossed for a speedy recovery. Maybe you could ask the local paper to cover the story - may be able to raise some money if she needs further treatment?

- Poor poor Molly, I do hope she will be home with you very soon and back to full health. Has the boy who handed her to the PDSA been caught? He deserves all he gets and presumably the Police will be involved?

- I have everything crossed for Molly I am lost for words that some total idiot and thug could do this to your dog. I am praying that Molly's lung keeps inflated and that she continues to heal. Please keep us posted with her progress Lots of love and sending positive thoughts XLast edited: 2010-11-06 23:03:28 by snoopdog

- We spent some time with Molly and she's doing very well, they still havent managed to keep her lung inflated at the moment Her wounds are also very deep. If they cannot keep her lung inflated then they want to refer her to a specialist but that could end up costing in excess of £3000 which we just do not have and at the moment we have paid out £700 so far to get her batter so we're hoping that by Monday they will have kept her lung inflated! But I will keep you all up to date you have all been so kind and such support xx

- Hi good news to report this morning! Just had a call from the vets to say that Molly is wide awake and full of beans this mornign and apparently whining like heel to get out! They said that she is nothing like the dog they took in just over 24hours ago and believe that over night they have managed to keep her lung inflated! xxx

- Poor Molly,How could they do that! Sending loads of healing thoughts to dear Molly and hope she Recovers quickly.xxx

- Hi guys thank you so much for all your support! I can assure you that he will get what's coming to him I'd love to just chuck him in the scrap yard next to my partners lock up with 2 rottweilers and show him what real torture is I really dont see how people can a kick out of hurting a defensless innocent dog as loving and sweet as her! She has been operated on and is doing well but one of her lungs has collapsed but they believe she is going to make a good recovery! I will keep you updated and let you know tomorrow when we know more thanks you again for your support it means so much to both of us xxx

- Hello, yes the dog ID 25528 is very much like molly but it is not her. We went to Forest Lodge on the 6th October and we did see this dog and I really did think it was Molly until I got close and its not :-( unfortunately. They are very very similar though xx

- Thanks natalie, I spent a long time looking at this little one - as you say dates do not tie up and I think that owners may already have been to view her - She is so similar I think that she could be a sibling

- found dog id 25528 looks very much like molly and isn't too far away from you, although the dates don't add up..but may be worth checking out as there could be a mistake on the system? Natalie
