- Hopefully newspaper articles will keep Pixie in people's
minds. The public have been fantastic, so much support coming in, people seeing the posters and newspaper articles and ringing me with support, they are keeping their eyes open! Maizie's story hopefully will keep all of us that have lost our dog's in a positive frame of mind. Although it's easy to be negative sometimes. Don't forget if your dog is insured you can claim back advertising costs. It's one of the best ways to let people know that your dog is missing. - 2010-11-12 19:29 Spindle

- Pixie is in loal paper this week and next. The advertisment is in the main body of the paper in colour, and is easily spotted. We also have a poster of her at Earl's Court, Discovering Dogs, next Sat on one of
the stands. Also heard that today that there is a man living rough around Eton College playing fields/Upton Park where Pixie went missing. Will try and make contact wih him (take husband with me!). Maybe he spotted her. She must be somewhere, we just need a little bit of luck! Thanks to insurance we still have some money left for a few more advertisments, will try papers 20 mile radius of Eton. Just want to say a thanks to everyone who has helped this past month, members of the public have been so supportive, special mention to Interserve van man who has put posters in office (70 vans on the road locally), refuge truck drivers and postmen (poster up in local sorting office)
and Lynn Dog Lost, what a great support you are!

- Hi Michelle, so glad she is safe, Thank goodness the vet scanned her! Any adult dog that is brought into a vets, no matter what the current owners say, should be scanned! Thank you so much for putting up posters for me, you will probably see some of Pixie, especially along the Jubilee River,my husband and I did a 10m bike ride last Sunday, pretty worn out, but well worth it if the posters bring her back to us. We just need a bit of luck. Hopefully she will be back in the press next week.
The relief of having Maizie back must be amazing. Thank you once again. Maizie's story has certainly cheered me up. - 2010-10-27 23:35 Michelle

- to Barnie and Ozzie's mum - the area where possibly Pixie was sighted is about 2miles from jubilee river, the other dog, a jack russell is local, spoke to a couple of local people who often see him running about.
Anne - thank you for your call that day, if it was her we missed her by minutes! Have a poster up in the Kebab Van, have told the guys to keep a look out, the gate where she was spotted is behind the van. Also spoke to local man who's bungalow overlooks the cricket pitch, he walks his dog around the cricket pitch, if she is still out there hopefully we will find her. x - 2010-10-16 20:25 standardnuttydog

- Hi Pixie's mum. You say there are conflicting reports about the type of dog sighted by Jubilee River. Do you know if the other dog was a black lab/retriever? I believe Maizie (23278) went missing from the Jubilee River area some months ago. Let's hope both she and Pixie are home soon xx

- Wnet to reported sight location at intervals between 6pm and 10pm last night. Had scented area 45mins after sighting, posters up around site. Went back at dawn with food. Posters handed out to house owner overlooking
cricket pitch close to where dog was sighted and office workers close to area. Some conflicting reports of type of dog sighted but will keep visiting area. Reply to Dogwalker46 - Pixie went missing from the entrance into Eton college playing field from a road call the Myrke which is siutated off of the Datchet Road. The entrance leads to a foot bridge over the Jubilee River then the playing fields open up in front of you. Hope this helps.
Have contacted by email the local radio station and created a story line that might attract attention. The dog warden central data base in Torquay called me earlier, they will conact the local warden to put a complaint in against the beagle pack (around 15 beagles)that are walked in the playing fields with no effective restraint, two broke of from pack and followed Pixie (did not catch her) but intimidating enough for her to run back over the bridge and into the Myrke. Hopefully the media report in local paper and my comments will make dog walker's aware of potential danger of walking dog's in the playing fields. Pixie's mum. - 2010-10-15 15:50 Riverlady

- Pixie could be mistaken as a westie. She is not she is a cross breed, her ears are larger than a westies would be and she has a full tail.

- Sorry to see Pixie is missing. Thank you for registering with doglost. Can you please send a photo to admin@doglost.co.uk as soon as possible. If not already done so you need to contact Dog wardens, Rescues and Vets. Please try and personally visit Rescue Centres wherever possible. It is not always a good idea to rely solely on telephone calls. Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days so this is extremely important. It is also very important that you poster heavily. If at all possible please keep us updated with regards to who you have contacted and the areas in which you have postered etc. This can be done by using the + Add a comment feature. Good luck. Hope Pixie is safely home soon
