Great news that Alfie is safely back home.
Scarlet
so pleased Alfie is home safe xx
DogLostAngus
it seems that the local police have been very helpful - they are one of the stations that own a scanner and will check found dogs and also call the warden - think the finder may have been telling porkies :-))
DogLostAngus
This has made my morning to see Alfie in the blue, his owners have worked so hard to get him back - I will try to find out which Police station he was reported found too - as although the polive have no responsibilty for found dogs they should be offering information such as dog warden contact information to finders

Welcome Home Alfie. Stay safe xx

Alfie is home...spotted being walked by a man who was approached by a relative...man said he had found the dog but local police did not want to know when he informed them...so he had been looking after him.

It may be worth the owner speaking to Bosley's owner (Wheaten Scotie stolen from LU1 on the 30th September) They could team up to poster.

I have put Alfie forward for Countrymans weekly magazine - have you taken out an advert in the local free newspaper - someone may have taken him in and not reported to the DW

Eileen, please stay positive. The fact that he is microchipped will be a huge help in reuniting you. I've emailed my family who live near to get friends & family to help. Fingers crossed that he is back home sage and sound with you soon. p.s. Keep visiting the travellers site and chasing the dog warden/police for any updates - don't wait for them to call you. x
Eileen

always worth taking a trip to the travellers site near the airport -2 more dogs as well as ours found there recently - if you drive right to the far end past the static mobile homes there are some ordinary caravans right at the back is a set of wooden kennels where unexpected visitors seem to turn up - hope this helps xx
