This boy served his 7 days in the stray kennels and is now at Freedom of Spirit Trust Border Collie Rescue, Eldwick, West Yorkshire for rehoming. Hopefully it won't be too long before he finds a loving home. Would have loved to have taken him myself (but couldn't) he was so gorgeous :-)) Good luck little fellow xxxxxLast edited: 2010-10-24 08:47:07 by Furlover - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire

This afternoon I rang dog wardens in the area to check if reported as missing with them. Calderdale, Kirklees, and Wakefield were all REALLY helpful - nothing reported to them so far that matches and they all took the details of this boy.
I then tried Leeds dog warden who were extremely curt and wouldnt take details.

Spoken to finder again today and she feels he must certainly be someones loved pet - Fleet have been contacted but noone has come forward yet.

Have crossposted to alert agility/obedience folk in West Yorks, as I too think I have seen this lad before. Unless there is more than one......?

Texted other doggy folk in the area. Staring at the pic, he reminds me of someone too!

Have spoken to finder and this boy was picked up by dog warden yesterday 13th October and is now at Fleet Kennels. I have notified Freedom Of Spirit rescue Eldwick to check if an owner had logged a missing dog with them but nothing reported as yet. He is obviously someones loved pet and hope the genuine owner comes forward ASAP as there have already been a few enquiries about him. He also reminds me of a dog too Valgrays !!!
