Walked from shillingstone cricket pitch to gains cross but sorry to say no sign.

had a phone call from a gentleman sayin he had come across a stray dog between gains cross and shillingstone along the trailway so went down to investigate and sure enough there is a stray dog there but could not get close enough to see if it was shadow as my tourch scared it way any help on tryin to get this dog as it may be her would be grateful

One more thought is to notify Dorset coppice group who have a log cabin in broadley woods/common adjoining norton woods. They do workshops and coppice work in the woods round there?

hi, yes the vets and some of the shops in town have postered, we also did put posters up in and around norton woods.

Have blandford vets and pet shops got posters? Did shadow go missing anywhere near norton woods in durweston? My husband goes running there regularly and I have asked to keep an eye out. Easy to get to oak ford hill from there too - could be worth postering the car park up there?

Just had a catchup call with Shadow's owner and bumping her now due to cover in Blackmore Vale Magazine and possible sighting in Fiddleford which is close to where she went missing.
Another terrier went missing from the same area and was later recovered from some people in the Shillingstone area so owner will follow this up with the dog warden tomorrow.

We are still actively looking for shadow and have now decided to put a £100 reward if she is found and returned

thank you for all your suport and help we had a lady phone up this afternoon saying they had seen her in fiddleford went there and came a scross another lost dog i then phoned the women again and asked for a more detail description and she is 100% sure it is shadow broken coated small black dog sounded just like her so going to carry the search on in the fiddleford area.

I will try to contact the owners to give advice, Stay safe little one. Edited to add that I have spoken to the owner, Shadow slipped her colar while on a walk in the woods and chased a rabbit. She may then have been frightened by some larger dogs and ran again. Posters are up and dog warden informed, calling petlog in the morning to report her missing. Scenting instructions sent.
