- sue from petsbureau gave me some numbers for private local kennels(thanks sue) i phoned one in west drayton who told me someone in hayes had put a notice up outside their home for a found small black dog,she had seen the dog from a distance in the garden and although she said it looked friendly she couldnt tell what breed it was.the man who lives there has two german shepherds.the notice was taken down yesterday, but she said she would pass by there this afternoon and see if they still have the dog there.she took mine and busters details and would call me this afternoon.fingers crossed

- have had a reply from network rail, they have confirmed that they have not retrieved any bodies since 17 oct and british waterways has also contacted me to confirm that they have not retrieved any dogs from the canal (only foxes)since 17 oct.the lady who phoned was very nice and she said that she would email to contact as many supervisors as possible that operate down the canal to keep a look out for buster and would let me know if they find him running loose. feel hopeful now we have ruled out our worst fears at the moment.tomorrow busters appeal is in the gazette and observer, hoping this will bring him home soon. miss him so muchxxLast edited: 2010-10-28 11:45:59 by ha0 busters owner

- have contacted dog wardens in newham, camden and islington, was advised that some councils contract private companies that pick up stray dogs so that could delay the time it takes for strays to be delivered to battersea.have also contacted network rail and british waterways and am awaiting replies from both.have also put up another poster where we discussed yesterday on medway estate in perivale and will check it tomorrow as someone keeps taking it down, ive got friends on haymill estate perivale looking for him. My friend works for a chauffeuring company and all their cars have his poster and are looking for him. Does any one know any contact numbers for any private dog warden companies around this area.Last edited: 2010-10-27 18:24:40 by ha0 busters owner

- Owner has contacted the local radio station. WEST SIDE FM .
They have been so helpful & are going to broadcast alerts for people to look out for Buster as well as advice such as calling dog warden etc if anyone spots him. Thank you West Side FM for your help here! - 2010-10-22 11:04 Aunt Stef - Area Volunteer, West London
- Buster could possibly be making his way back down the river route to the area where he used to live & was walked in Boston Manor Park. Might be a long shot but not impossible as this river " River Brent" runs right down towards Osterley Park.
Could email alerts be sent out to helpers in the TW4, TW7 & TW8 areas please Jayne. Thanks..Last edited: 2010-10-22 11:21:14 by Aunt Stef - Area Volunteer, West London - 2010-10-21 18:22 ha0 busters owner
- one dogwalker mentioned to me that the last time he knew of someone finding a stray on the hills it was taken to somewhere in harrow that he thought began with a c ??????? also spoke to the ranger who patrols scotch common, said would be on the lookout and would leave all details in the office for the other rangers.thank you stef for the extra posters, got them todayLast edited: 2010-10-21 18:53:06 by ha0 busters owner

- no luck up at horsendenhill.met up with one of the rangers up there and although he said they would look for him.the likelyhood of him still being in there is slim,(thats if he did go on there)as there is always someone on the hills.ie,dogwalkers, rangers and walkers.did manage to get a few dogwalkers on board.have a horrible feeling he has taken the canal route which means he could be miles away by now.have done more posters.wont give up looking but feel am looking in the wrong places
