Fantastic news. Blue is the image of my Henry so pleased he is back. Beagles are very tenacious and very capable of being out for long periods, well done whoever found him. Welcome home Blue from beagles Henry and Molly.

Brilliant news!
Calamity
Great news! We were worried now that fireworks are going off so regularly. We drove the perimeter of the airport but didn't spot him. We often walk at Earlswood Lakes but haven't been for a few weeks but wouldn't have thought of looking there.

Oh that's brilliant news! I drove around the Povey Cross, Charlwood, Norwood Hill and Ironsbottom area yesterday but was obviously looking in the wrong place! What a clever boy to take himself back to Earlswood Lakes - he must have had to cross several main roads. Welcome home lovely Blue, stay safe now xx
peewee415
BLUE has been found and is safe and well, if not a little smelly.
He was found at Earlswood Lakes, a walk we do on a regular basis.
THANKS to everyone who has been looking our for him and for the help and support given to us.
peewee415
Blue has been seen. He was running along the north perimeter

road Gatwick (towards cargo and Timberham house) At 0600 today. No luck so far but at least he is about.

Hi we met on Monday when you were searching for Blue. and we have been looking for him since then but unfortunately have't spotted him anywhere. Have you contacted Battersea Dogs Home because all the various police stations and agencies do not always liaise and dogs get sent to Battersea very quickly. Silvertalisman - Tks for suggestions and all are being pursued.
Have been out again for 6 - 8.30 again today but no sighting. Food left has gone but could be a Fox!!.Local dog warden is trying to get hold of a fox trap for us.
Silvertalisman
Has he been added to the Doglost Facebook page, I cant see him??
If you Google Beagle rescue and email his details to anyone and everyone within 100 miles or so (just in case he got onto a good scent) hopefully you will get some joy.Last edited: 2010-10-27 17:50:25 by Silvertalisman

Sorry to hear about your dog, have you contacted Crawley and Tandridge warden as it is not far if someone found him and called their local council. Try calling some local kennels as they get to hear doggy info Von Wolf take R&B strays I believe 01342 843246 and Rosemar 01306 611326 for Mole Valley (Dorking). Hope this helps and I will keep a look out every time I go through Povey Cross.
peewee415
Angus, will do I am sure that they will leave food out as they are very nice people.
have arranged all above.
food and clothing in a part built shed similar to our own. Perhaps that is where he is sleeping out of wet and cold.

peewee415 - If he was seen in a garden this morning - please leave some clothing there that has your scent on and ask the homeowners to lay food out for him at dust and dawn, he may return if he picks up on your scentLast edited: 2010-10-26 16:52:12 by Angus

Thanks for last comments. Have alerted both Reigate and Dorking dog wardens, Vets, Surrey and Sussex Police, customs at gatwick as they exercise dogs around the area.
Also advised Petlog (who alert vets/animal welfare/and others, who subscriber, within a 30 mile radius).
Will do Tesco's ASAP.

peewee415 - I drove around the povey cross area lunchtime, but no sign. Saw your posters. I assume you have alerted the R & B dogwarden, local vets and kennels, police etc. Would suggest a poster on the customer services desk at Tesco's, they are usually pretty obliging. Hope Blue aticks to nearby fields and woodlands and doesn't venture near the roads. I have friends and family in Salfords and Horley, and have asked them to keep a lookout. Stay safe Blue, and come home soon.
peewee415
Blue was seen in the garden of a bungalow at povey cross, near to entry to the river mole at 0900 this morning. Unfortunatly after extensive searching not seen again.Last edited: 2010-10-26 11:42:20 by peewee415
