- Couldn't resist calling Muriel even though it is late. She tells me Callum appears to be ok but is very hungry and sleeping contentedly with her other dog. Welcome home Callum.

- i guess you can take some comfort from the fact you know he can look after himself and that the weather isn't too bad.

- We got him from dogs trust almost three years ago after he was picked up as a stray in Ireland. Don't know how long he was a stray, but he is definitely a good scavenger! My husband came to Lincoln and spent two days scouring round on his bike. He went up to the common as that's where cal headed and it's where we walk him. He also went out toward washy and bracebridge Heath. Mum and dad go out everyday as they live on the high street. It's like he has disappeared into thin air! Thank you for your support.

- do you know if he has lived rough in the past at all? I wonder if he has made it up onto south common? sorry I can't get out tomorrow to help, but if he isn't found by the weekend I can. Do keep us posted here.

- Flyers made up and emailed to Muriel, Jeff and Callum's owners. Police, vets, rescue centres and dog wardens have all been informed and Lincs FM have put out an appeal.Last edited: 2010-10-28 13:14:53 by AlisonH

- i'm local and run local dog classes so i will tell my 'lot' about Callum. Has anyone been up to ingham to check at the kennels? That's where found dogs are taken.
Have local vets been contacted? I can do that if it will help.

- Have added a picture to Callum's page. Possible he was sighted after he ran away, crossing from one side of the High Street to the other and that a vehicle may have hit him. Although he ran away following this, it is still possible he is hurt. He is a rescued dog and is very timid anyway, but had been scared by some builders that morning causing him to run away. Callum is a very friendly dog and responds well to treats and praise.
