shoot the owner
I see the dog is microchipped, as a chipper you are able to ring up Petlog or Anibase give your implanter code and they will give you the contact address or tel no to contact the owner. I have been able to return dogs within a couple of hours to their owners and I'm sure any rescue in your area would help in this way if they have someone who is registered as a chipper. Hopefully Leeds DW will do this, but unfortunately this is not aways the case and not all owners are aware of Dogs Lost.
