Male liver/white docked GSP sighted on Grange Industrial Estate, Seaham, Co Durham. Very timid, has been seen in this area over a few months, but not yet caught.

Hi, I'm just wondering if Bodo returned home. My GSP went missing 10th March and so far we have had no joy really, a few possible sightings which havent led to anything. Do you think Bodo ran off or had been taken, we are unsure with Lionel as nothing about him disappearing makes sense. I do hope Bodo returned home, I know how it feels and it is the worst feeling in the world. Bodo is such a handsome boy, no doubt with the character and energy of a typical GSP which makes us love them so much

WE STILL HOPE FOR HIS SAFE RETURN. In the mean time we are homeing a rescue dog, not the same but a companion if Bodo should be found.

I've just been looking on the map. Latest sightings are only about 27 miles from where Bodo went missing. It would be a time-consuming rural drive, but a fit young GSP would have no problem covering that distance cross-country over a few days. Personally I would bet he wasn't picked up but just wandered off after a scent or something, started to have some fun and then kept going. Young GSPs can be very adventurous and independent.

Owners are doing great work here this area at least an hours drive from their home, its looking like Bodo was picked up , then dumped if this is him hope so , come home soon Bodo x
