I'm so happy this boy has been found relatively quickly ( and before the dreaded 5th November) Thankfully he was sighted by a lady who happened to look out of the window at work near Grattan/Wickes and saw Harry wandering about and she reported him to the dog warden - owner was contacted by the dog warden and her son went straight over. Police have been informed of where Harry was found but no further information on the vehicle as yet. But owner was concerned about getting Harry back which was the priority. Welcome home Harry -xxxxLast edited: 2010-11-04 20:05:40 by Furlover - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire

Have spoken to owner tonight. Harry is approx 10 yrs and a little arthritic on his back leg - Owner thinks he was probably laid behind the drivers seat when the vehicle was stolen but it was quite gloomy yesterday- so the thieves may not have seen him initially.
As posted earlier by Wickedweims the theft has been registered with Police - also Leeds, Wakefleld and Bradford Dog wardens notified. Owner contacted Look North but they said they couldn't run anything. I told owner about the ad on Fresh Radio by Tracy and is very grateful to Tracy for doing that !!!!! Chip co. have been informed and the details are up to date. Owner is putting ad in Yorkshire Post but suggested she contact them to try get them to run as an article also. Will email further contact details to owner (which she can pick up when gets home )to contact dog wardens further afield.

Have notified some driving contacts to keep eye out for car & dog. Usually the dogs are left where they can be found- when they realise he's there.

Hope this lad is found quickly
have also contacted a friend of friend at radio station- FRESH Radio- asked if they can put appeal out- waiting to hear back but will get more people involved. Last edited: 2010-11-03 11:34:14 by TracyB
