- Marys oensr also mentioned he had heard that on the day Mary went missing a local lady had been asking around if anyone knew who a Yorkshire Terrier belonged to. It is not clear if she had just seen this dog or had found and kept it. Marys owner knew where this lady lives and had been round to her house many times and but can not get an answer and has put a poster through the letterbox.Last edited: 2010-11-14 11:37:54 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

- I have checked with the stray kennels and the found dog was not picked up in the Leeds area but in Kirklees. However 1 have sent the photo of the found dog through to Mary's owners so that he can check for himself.

- Received text today from Marys owner that had looked at the picture and details but the found Yorkie isnt Mary . Thank you for the alert Natalie !!!
However after checking the area he spoke to someone and has found out that someone was asking around regarding a Yorkie. Owner has been to the address but there was no reply and will keep going back at the address in case they still have Mary or confirm if it was her. Have advised to keep checking with the stray kennels too.Last edited: 2010-11-09 19:48:09 by Furlover - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire - 2010-11-08 22:32 Furlover - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire

- Mary went missing when let out in the garden with other dog (her son) he was there but Mary had disappeared. Mary had belonged to owners grandma There are no pictures of her to use for a poster so will look at "similar pics" that can be used to help create poster.
At back of house are fields which go to a high school and primary school which would be where posters need to be put up and stressed the importance of getting some up asap. Local vets have been contacted, along with RSPCA AND PDSA, Leeds dog warden has been informed and the 5 stray kennel details were given to owner to contact. Poor girl is approx 16 YRS OLD and just hope she has been picked up by some well meaning person and that she will be found soon. Keep safe Mary xx
