- I too have been following these 2 as I have reported my dog missing who is on this site. I am very sad for you as I was initally excited that they had been found which I assumed well and safe. Then I read these comments.

- How terribly sad for the owners to find both their beautiful girls at the bridge - they obviously adored each other as they stayed together until the end, big thanks to the rail worker who let the owners know hat had happened and allowed them to take the girls home. My thoughts very much with their devatstaed owners today xx

- I've just spoken to owner and am so sad to report that both Lightning & Cordi have been found deceased together on the railway line nearby. Owners are devastated but have collected both Cordi and Lightning and taken them home to their final resting place.
Such a sad,sad outcome for these much loved girls. RIP Cordi & Lightning.
My thoughts are with the owners

- Owners have been to the "fur & feather" sale at Thirsk today spoken to lots of people and handed out posters. No sightings or further info on these two as yet.
They have got them in the Yorkshire Post. Also now on NPR too. Hopefully owners will hear something soon. - 2010-11-06 09:57 Angus

- Rang owner - these 2 dogs disappeared from their garden (had gone before they both returned ) the day they went missing there was a local cubbing hunt taking place close to where they live. When the dogs were discovered missing (approx 20 mins) there were people in 3 cars out checking the area and they spoke to the hunt but no sign of the dogs. It is believed by owners that these 2 have been stolen so advised to contact police and obtain Crime Reference No. Local farmers/gamekeepers are aware. Their local dog warden Hambleton have been notified. Have suggested notifying dog wardens further afield and am emailing contact details for other sites to register details with them. Owners are already on with getting ad in Yorkshre Post and suggested they contact Countrymans Weekly and log with hunting forums.
If someone has suddenly acquired 2 dalmations hopefully it would be noticed! Hope these 2 lovelies are back home soon.Last edited: 2010-11-04 21:56:49 by Furlover - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire - 2010-11-04 19:57 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
