Thanks for the earlier text Angus. Owner now back from vets and has just phoned me. NYLAH (correct spelling) is ok but is very bruised and has cuts to head, paws and neck. One very lucky dog as it seems she was hit by yet another car when trying to make her way home. Owner thanks everyone for their help and says she will try to send a reunited photo through to admin. Nilka has been found - just had a text from Georgie who was about to go out to try to track her - I don't have full details but she is safe has a cut to her head nd will be going to the vets once she has been dried off, I am sure that BonBon will update us further.

Will check when the picture comes in - I am sure that it is correct. I've just had a text from Georgie who is meeting owners tomorrow to help in the search and will be able to give support in a very similar situation.

Thanks Angus. As no id no. was known when I spoke with owner, photo will be sent to admin using the reference Nila Doberman. Nila knows the area well so we can only hope she is not too hurt or shocked and can find her way home safely. I tried to reassure owner the best I could as it brought back memories of when MooseMonkey was hit by a car. Carole

Thanks BonBon, I have sent a text to all the people who were involved in the hunt for Georga earlier in the year as it is only 7 miles away hopefully some may be able to help.- will keep an eye on the page for the photo so that alerts can be sent out.

Owner has also notified Bracknell Forest council. (They no longer have a dog warden and use contractor). Nila is 2 years old.

I have added this on behalf of owner who will be forwarding photo to admin.
Moor Cottage Vets phoned me about Nila and I have since spoken with owner.
Nila was attacked by another dog, ran off and was then hit by a car. She then ran into the forest. Owner has been searching without any success. Moor Cottage have already notified other local vets. Have given owner some advice and suggested she leave access to house in the hope that Nila makes her way back. Have also recommended owner register asap. Owner has my telephone number and I will keep in touch and update if any news. Carole
