- I have the best news ever and am exsatatic :) before walking out the door this morning to take my husband to work and kids to school i received a text from a lady saying she may have found our dog! My husband spoke to her and basically she picked him up outside a pub on friday night literally a 5-10 min walk from our house. She took him home got the spen guardian to see if there was any notices about him but there werent as i couldnt get it in that paper as i had missed the cut off date, anyways it was only when she saw the poster in morrisons heckmondwike this morning that she saw he belonged to someone :) so i went straight for him and he was ok no injuries thankfully and very happy to see me i am over joyed i cant explain the feeling of happiness i have :) I will mention i did give the very lovely kind lady her reward :) I am still 100 % moby was stolen and dumped coz we have checked the garden ova and ova and there is no way of him getting out!
Anyways i would like to say a big big thank you for everyones help and support u have all been fab!
Its really good to see moby cuddled up to ruby right now :) xxx - 2010-11-20 22:56 Phoenix57
- Have texted owner with details for a journalist at the Telegraph and Argus who wrote the story regarding Ruby the beagle who was reunited two days after the story appeared in the paper. The T and A have run a couple of stories in the last month or so about stolen dogs and both have been reunited with their families so fingers crossed.

- So sorry to hear that Moby is missing from the garden,I live local to Liversedge and anything I can do to help let me know, I have e mailed the poster of Moby to local dog walkers and asked them to watch out for him, I have a Cocker Spaniel and Moby is very like him as a puppy, I feel if he has been stolen he will have been sold on quite quickly so you need to get the local press involved and poster ,poster ,poster and do not give upon him, pester, pester anybody and everybody that you can think of to help in the search for him.

- Have spoken to owner . Moby is approx. 4 months old now -- the picture is of him as a puppy .
He was taken from the garden between 5.30pm - 7.00pm. Their other spaniel was left behind. A neighbour saw Moby at approx 5.30pm. Police have been notified and a crime reference no obtained. Posters are up locally and dog warden notified. Have advised to check with Gumtree, Freeads, and the dog for sale ads, publicise Moby as much as possible by getting LOTS of posters up, contact all the vets and to get him into the local papers asap . Am emailing more info and contact details to owner . Hope someone spots this boy and contacts owners or Doglost. - 2010-11-17 16:04 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
