- From a search point of view, this dog should never have been posted on the Husky Cross section. It looks nothing like one and your chances of being matched with a lost dog are very slim. Sorry, just my opinion.

- Have just been in touch with Trelogan, the collie cross is only a pup, few months old, i'm still going to go up and have a look though, you never know! Thanks for letting me know about it x

- There is a black cross breed in Trelogan at the moment. Found December 8th. If I were you I would go in and see the dogs as I have been stood there before when someone has called about a stray and the dog has been stood in reception and they have not recognised it from the very obvious description. They have described this dog as a Collie Cross female. Hope you find her soon.

- I have been checking Nant y corn on a regular basis they have a poster of Bear, also Trelogan, and have also checked the kennels in Dyserth, apparently all stray dogs are taken to Nant y corn, still no joy, drove around Rhyl for a good hour today, hoping to catch a glimpse of her, but no luck! I have gone down every route i can think of, Local newspaper, locsl radio station, posters all over, in shops, vets , pet shops, NOTHING! It's been 3 weeks now

- Sorry it wasn't her, but had to be checked out! Which rescue centres locally have you been checking with? do you get chance to visit and see the dogs they have in, just to be sure? will keep looking out for her!

- Hi just rang trelogan NCAR and its not her, this dog was micro chipped mine isn't. Gutted, kind of got my hopes up!

- Hi, just wondered if you check the website of NCAR centre in Trelogan as they have a Collie listed as recently found in Rhyl on the 14th, mainly black and no collar. No photo! she could easily have made her way to Rhyl in the time she has been missing. I know Bear isn't a Collie but she definitely looks more Collie than Husky x Newfie! here is the link to page!

I live in Rhyl so will definitely keep an eye out for her while out with my dogs! - 2010-11-17 21:13 emma
- Will inform coastguards 1st thing, never thought of that, thank you. Ashmark, I agree with what you say, she is actually a husky x newfoundland, but does look like a collie, the wardens and kennels are aware she looks more like a collie, they all have posters. Thank you

- Have you informed the coastguards, as she went missing on the beach?

- Am a bit worried Bear won't be recognised by her description because she looks more like a collie cross.
