- Baggy Dog and I have now returned from our search for this 'Rottie' on Hayes Common. We spent well over an hour searching along the tracks but sadly no further sighting. Have alerted 24/7 emergency cover Foxgrove Vets and Ward Security (our very good and caring park dog-assisted patrols). I will also contact our Park Rangers and the local Community Police. We spoke to horse riders, a dog walker (not many around at that time of day), a Council rubbish collection man, etc. We met up with 2 Ward Security chaps and left them looking in another area of the Common. We crossed over a couple of the roads but sadly nothing. We also spoke to a very pleasant (concerned) couple who live in one of the nearby houses (the immediate area doesn't have many houses) who promised to keep an eye out. She confirmed what I already knew that her next door neighbour does own a dog but it's not a Rottie or even a Rottie lookalike. Baggy Dog, thanks for calling me and for your usual support and concern!Last edited: 2010-11-18 13:27:39 by Millys Mum
