Comment re DogLost Ruby 28220 - reasons for posting here self-explanatory.

I've received email (I'm NG3) and so sorry to see that Ruby is missing. I just cannot believe your bad luck as we are still looking for Kyra and Sofia. There is a DogLost found Akita - 27959 - DE14 on 11 Feb, so obviously not Ruby. I don't think the colouring's right for Kyra or Sofia but perhaps owner might wish to check. Will post this comment on Kyra and Sofia's page too (DogLost ID 26308), as I feel if we get a clue re one it might lead to the others too. Will keep looking for all three when out with my own dog and also in the car. Hope they are all soon found safe and well.

Don't give up hope - we are still looking.

Hi Bex
I've already put both your phone numbers from the poster (and those for the other missing dogs in this area) in my mobile which is with me at all times, and will certainly ring if I see any dogs looking anything like yours. It must be heartbreaking for you both but don't give up hope - dogs have been reunited even after several months, and I hope this will prove to be the case for you.

Hi Thanks for all your support everyone. She has still not been found after 3 months and me and my partner are devastated and her other daughter and granddaughter miss them so much. Our family is incomplete. i believe someone has taken her and she has been took out of the area as she is microchipped and one of them had a collar on at the time of going missing. i just please beg that if anyone sees someone with two akitas that look very alike, one a 8 month old just call the police or contact me on 07787850823 and i will be there. Regards Bex

Sorry there seems to be no more news about Kyra and her puppy. Will still keep a lookout tho all this snow makes it difficult. Hope they are both soon reunited with their family - also the pup at Annesley. Had a look at that site and it seems he/she has not yet been caught. Fingers crossed for all three.

Just had another read of the post on dogpages and the puppy is living rough on the business park at Annesley if that helps.
Jeffreysmummy
There is a message on dogpages today about a stray GSD puppy living rough in the Nottingham Annesley area. They are asking for a trap because they can't catch it. Might be worth making contact in case it is an Akita rather than a GSD. http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=234426

Spotted Kyra's page. This is my area. Will keep lookout. Printed off poster and extra image, as I feel the pup's colouring is quite distinctive for an Akita and someone should recognise her. Hope they are both soon reunited with their owner.Last edited: 2010-11-20 09:50:19 by Jenni S

Sorry to see that KYRA AND SOFIA MOM AND DAUGHTER PUPPY CASH REWARD is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (26308)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
