I spoke today to the warden at Frimley Lodge and he confirmed that a dog was knocked down and killed outside over the weekend.It sounds very much as though this may be my beloved Amber.It would explain why there have been no sightings.I will confirm or not when I have been to see the body.

Sorry to hear poor Amber is missing. I've seen news of her on both my flatcoat and golden groups. Liver flatcoats are rare and as such people don't always recognise them - the one I walked got mistaken for a setter, amongst other breeds, so bear this in mind if you're talking to rescue centres which may have taken her in. Print out business-card size pieces of paper with her/your details on and give to everyone you meet on your search, so they don't have to find a poster to give you a call. Hope she's safely home soon.

Have spoken to Landmarc warden, he is going to speak to the Army warden in charge of Mytchett woods and spread the word. He said we can poster anywhere we like up the woods.
So am going up now armed with some posters.

Spoke to the emrgency vets for you, they have no record of a dog in an RTA in Frimley. I did confirm though that if she was microchipped they would have got in touch with you straight away, as would most vets / rscue services. They suggested contacting the dog warden for Frimley on 0870 609 1449 and also Lost Paws, which is the council rescue for out of hours on 02392 242161. thank you. no sightings as yet, she just vanished. its not like her either, we had just come back from at least an hours walk, and she had just gone, we were so close to the car. when out looking today and no sign. thank you again.

I will keep a look out for Amber when walking my dogs in the GU17 area. Have you have any sightings of her as yet? If so where? If I can get across to the ranges or near sightings, I will try to walk my dogs in those areas and look.

Will get some posters up at the Mytchett & Frimley Green areas of the woods as this is my local walk. Access to the Frimley Green woods area is via Old Guildford Road off of Guildford Rd.
Can I just mention so's not to confuse anyone, Ash ranges are in Ash this location is Mytchett/Frimley Green woods but it does link up with Ash ranges.
