- So glad to see Max is safe now. No animals should be out in this weather. Hoping he is ok now.

- Caught at 10.30 last night by his mum, assisted by her other shepherd Carla. Max had been sheltering on a mainly derelict industrial estate where there were open sheds, and was being fed by a watchman and also by a local lady. Huge thanks to the many people who helped in the search. Thanks to the kind people who fed him he has not lost too much weight. His mum has worked so hard to find him in spite of her own injuries from the accident, so I hope she will have a nice rest now and get well soon.

- Very pleased to see there has been another sighting. It's Hawkins Lane, and it's due south of the estate where we lost the trail. So good that he is still in the same area.

- Hope he is caught soon - is their a possibilty, a group of people could circulate the area and see if they can entice him to them, to help get him back home?

- Thank you Radio Derby for putting out a call for this boy. There have been sightings on the Parcel Terrace industrial estate on the south side of Derby and on Radbourne recreation ground west of Derby. Dogs escaping after RTA tend to return and stay around but Max seems to have kept going. The electrics in car caught fire so it is no wonder he panicked. Margaret from Burton Petsearch has been advising, and all relevant people have been notified. I took my dog there on Sunday to see if we could track him. She got a scent at scene of accident and followed the trail over a bridge on the A38 and down a footpath which led him parallel to that road heading in the Derby direction. Eventually we lost the trail on an estate full of small roads and cul de sacs where Max kept doubling back, obviously lost, but he did seem to be heading north so it does seem likely that the sightings were of him. I am awaiting a photo.
