I have been watching Digger's story and been so worried about him what with all the awful weather we have at the moment. I have a Beagle called Digger too and he would be off on a big adventure given the chance! Welcome home Digger and stay safe now.XXX.

Janet has just text me to say that Digger has been found - absolutely fantastic news - so pleased that he is safe - the weather has been awful here. Welcome home Digger.... i hope that he's not suffering any ill effects from his adventures :-) I'll take down any posters that i see for him and will let all the people that i emailed know that he was safe as they were really worried about him.

Digger followed a dog walker home today...even though he was a man and Digger is wary of men....once the chap had him in the garden he phoned the owners. Thank you to that kind man. Digger is overjoyed to be back home and went straight to the biscuit cupboard.

Really pleased to say that Digger is home, safe and well. Lost a bit of weight but his usually jolly self. The man who found him was quite shocked that he had been missing for 2 weeks! Thank you for all your help and advice these last couple of weeks. Natalie and Digger x

Still nothing, not even a sighting. It has been quite difficult these last few days not been able to get out and about. I have put posters along the cuckoo trail but only to a certain point as it has been closed off due to emergency work. All starting to feel less hopefull :(

Any news on Digger?
doglady
We have just come back from a walk in Abbots wood from Robin post lane, If Digger run toward Knockhatch Adventure Park then this also backs onto the cuckoo trail near the Arlington race track on the opposite side there is a walk with a sign post saying the Cuckoo trail. We will be walking over Abbots wood again tomorrow night I'm unable to get to the Cuckoo Trail in the week so if someone can put posters up there it will help lots walk over that way.

Still no news, have just finished printing posters as have planned a route for a drop tom, will also start to put leaflets on cars in car parks. Thank you for your suggestions, I have included these areas.

I walked with a friend in Abbots Wood first thing Saturday morning - i handed out posters to other dog walkers that i met - i walked from Robin Post Lane - i didn't see any posters in that area of Abbots Wood so nobody we met knew Digger was missing. Someone we met suggested a poster is put up in the newsagents in South Road, Hailsham - i didn't have enough with me to put one up there. I do hope there is some good news soon.

Will print off posters and put up at stables in Willmington where we keep our horse, as many ride out in this area. Fingers crossed you get some news soon.

I've just spoken to Gloria, who is our local dog warden - she is aware that Digger is missing so is also on the lookout.

What a sweet looking boy - i'm so sorry that Digger has still not been found :-( I am walking in Abbots Wood first thing tomorrow morning with a friend - we'll be starting off from Robin Post Lane - if i get a chance, i'll pring off some b/w posters (haven't got a colour printer, sorry) and give them to anyone we meet. Nathalie, have you put a poster up in Jolleyes and also the A22 Pet Store? It might be worth asking if they'd put one up at St Bedes School at the Dicker as i think their land backs onto the area where Digger went missing. Also, dustmen, postmen and Cavalier Cars (and any other taxi firms in that area) as they're driving around all the time. Have you also tried walking the wooded area from Hemsted Lane that comes our opposite Abbots Wood? It is a bridleway so you are allowed to walk through there. I really hope that Digger turns up safe and well.x

Just another thought, there is a scout camp right close to Knockhatch with 17 acres. The scouts maybe able to organise a search party.

Hi,
Thank you for your comments and offers of help. I have since been and put posters up in Abbotts Wood and whilst i was there there were a few dog walking companies who have all taken posters and will pass the message on. He was heading to knockhatch kelly, but there is so much field and wooded area he could be anywhere. Will keep you all posted, once again thank you x

I live very near to Knockhatch so will keep a look out for Digger. Hubby runs in Abbots Wood so he too will keep his eyes open. Was Digger lost whilst being walked in Abbots Wood? If you need any help in searching then please give me a shout. Hope he's soon found safe and well. x

Is there any news on this boy yet? Its just up the road from me :-(
I know a couple of people who live in that area so will email them now. Might be worth getting some posters up at Abbots Wood - lots of dog walkers there and local. I hope that Digger turns up safe and well.
