Thank you to everyone who has helped in our search for Tilly, we are pleased to say that Tilly was recovered last night 6th December 2010 from a family who had bought her a week ago, they saw one of our posters whilst shopping and recognized they had a stolen dog. She is now home and happy.

Have just spoken with Tillys owner. Police have been notified and CRN obtained. Dog wardens have been contacted and advised to contact Traveller Liaison Officer . Am emailing further advice to owners.
Tilly has her own FACEBOOK page "Friends of Tilly " please cross post as widely as possible. Tillys owner mentioned that she also has heard that 2 pugs have also gone missing so I'm trying to also check these out as not sure if these are NEW ones - or are the ones stolen earlier from Leeds and subsequently reunited. I spoke to the tattoo parlour that the info came from but they werent sure as the info was secondhand. Will drive over to the area tomorrow after work and check out the post office that has the posters of the missing pugs. Owner said they have put up around 400 posters in the area - Yorkshire Post have been contacted and I recommended they try to get Tilly in as an "article" as opposed to an ad in the missing column.

Make sure you get a crime number from the police and contact the local papers to get a story in about her. She may have been sold on to someone who didn't realise she is stolen. A jack russell was stolen near Bingley recently and was reunited when she appeared in the paper. An missing advert in the paper is better than nothing, but try and get a full story about her in. Good luck
