Ahh Bless darling Defor poor boy having to go through all this at the hands of these NASTY people.The photo is so beautiful to see him back home after his ordeal is so lovely.I saw the picture of him in the car on the way home and he looked so tired ,I hope hes caught up on some sleep now,Ind im sure hes enjoying his home comforts,he certainly looks like he is!!Lovely boy.xxxx

Thank you for all your help, who ever thought of this web site is FANTASTIC as if it wasnt avaiable i would never of got my boy back.
I have attached a picture of Defor on his way home in the car and when home.
He has been vet checked and all ok, i have treated him and all my dogs for every thing worms, mange fleas etc just incase. He needs a bath and his teeth cleaned as he doesnt smell like himself, but im will wait as i dont think he can deal with that at the moment.
He settling back down, doesnt like me to leave him panics and starts crying, its so sad. He has slept well.

THANKYOU ALL AT DOGLOST SO MUCH YOU ARE AMAZING.

No lily we had a found dog report e mailed to doglost and put finder in touch with owner. The dog is not chipped...but it was defor's distinctive ears that helped to identify him.

Absolutely fantastic news...I have updated all my dog walking friends that have been searching for Defor and all the local groups that I had posted it to on Facebook. Did his chip lead to him being re-united? Love to Mel and family...enjoy your boy :)

I cannot tell you how THRILLED I am that it was Defor and he's reunited with Mel and family and that they are all on their way home. They are understandably over the moon! Goes to show, again, what lengths these thieves sadly go to.

Defor is fine, as Shereen said, he was overjoyed to see Mel and he's now snoozing on the journey home. He's going to be the most spoilt dog around thats for sure! WELCOME HOME WHERE YOU BELONG DEFOR. x x x

Just another thought. Where was he found, is it a place where dogs are commonly dumped because they dont fit a certain criteria and therefore it could have been a planned taking for whatever purpose.

I cant belive it,This poor boy was stolen and then dumped 122 miles from home in the freezing cold,I want to say a massive thankyou to all the people who has been involved with
1)Finding and making sure this boy was safe
2) Registering this boy as found
3)Transporting him to kennels very late last night
4)Giving him a nice warm kennel and food
Thank goodness for all them people and Welldone!
I know Defor is going to be so spoiled,He showered his owner with kisses as soon as he saw her,Bless him.

Thanks lilylouise. Spoken to Mel tonight and she is doing all the right things. All relevant people notified and she'll start postering further afield. Local press will also feature an ad from Thurs. Lets hope the call comes with good news very soon. x

This is very local to me, I have text all my dog walking friends and put a link to the poster on my Facebook. I have also put link on Heart Essex and Southend Facebook pages. Thanks for uploading a photo Mel. He looks a lovely boy. Make sure you put up loads of posters all around the area....hopefully that call will come soon. I know you have said its unlike him to disapper - can he get out of the garden or is it a case someone has let him out/taken him from the garden. If you feel he has been taken make sure you contact the Police too.
