- Hello,I have spoken in length twice on 20th Dec to the owner and now have a better understanding of the circumstances and the description of Jasper. We have promised to keep in touch with each other with updates and any useful ideas.I have also seen the advert in the local paper.Unfortunately it was too expensive to add a photo, but at least the advert has a bold yellow background.

- Hi Dogwalker. I have texted owner for more details about build & coat length. Jasper went out from his front door, something he has always done but disappeared & this was near the Harlington Rd area of UB3.
I will bump Jasper up as he is in the local paper today. - 2010-12-12 18:16 Pearl46
- Hello again,I was wondering where in UB3 Jasper went missing, did he get outdoors somehow or was he stolen? Also is his coat long at present and is he a small Yorkie or a large one...i ask as i had a sighting of a Yorkie this afternoon with similar markings on its face,it was a large size but longer coat.and was being very stubborn on the lead.I was on a bus at the time,so could not investigate further Yorkies can vary in size so much,I needed to know what size we were looking for. Many thanks.

- Have just spoken to Jasper's owner. Jasper went missing from his home near Heathrow at 2.30 am on the 16th Nov. This is very unlike him, being elderly & devoted to his very distraught owner. There has been no sign of him since . It is felt that someone has probably picked Jasper up & taken him in thinking he was a stray & not reported him to the DW or any of the authorities.Local CCTV is being investigated now. There is a cash reward for Jasper's safe return. Owner is going to send a photo of Jasper a.s.a.p.

- Sorry to see that JASPER is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (26561)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
