- Has anybody got any updates about Millie?
I saw a picture advert in the Blackpool Gazette last night. (sorry I am a new member to DogLost and don't normally buy the Gazette).Last edited: 2011-01-19 08:07:24 by Jack Russell 4 - 2011-01-10 19:12 shebaodin
- Just checked the Radio Wave website and I can see Millie now advertised with a reward, I really hope this will bring some information as someone must have her after this length of time with no sightings. This one has really struck a chord with me as one of my dogs jumps out of her skin everytime the bird scarers go off at the airport and its easy to see how she took off in a blind panic. I'm still keeping an eye out on the Dunes, but I think she has probably been picked up closer to her home and hopefully the reward will bring info to get her back to her family who seem to be doing everything they can, best wishes for her safe return!

- Millie is still missing, family are still spreading the word. It takes just that one person to see a poster etc and make that most important call. Jan x

- I just heard on the local radio station Radio Wave that they are doing a free lost and found pets section so if the owner rings and gets Millie put on, it may come to someones attention if a neighbour has suddenly got a dog? With no new sightings it would seem likely that someone has found her and has not informed the Dog Warden. Either that or may bring new sightings, fingers crossed!

- Would it help if the owners we given scenting instructions of how to hopefully get Millie to her front door, I am not experienced enough to give them.

- *** BUMPED *** further possible recent sightings around CLAREMONT PARK.
Family have postered St. Annes but have not heard anything for a few days in that area, but they have now had 3 or 4 possible sightings in the last few days around Claremont Park (which is not far from their home). Looks like she is making her way home which is great news. Come on Millie we want to see you in the BLUE. Good luck. - I have just seen this post, I am on the sand dunes twice a day with my dogs so if she is on there I hope I will spot her, I've put owners number in my phone in case. I will also print off some posters to hand out on the beach as the Sunday St Annes dog walking club will be there today and I'll spread the word to all the regular dog walkers, take comfort in how clever collies are and if she's on the Dunes there are plenty of rabbits to catch until she's found.

- Had a missed call and message earlier today on my mobile from family to alert us of the sightings, I was unable to update due to being in work (thanks Spindle for posting the update and bumping up). I've been in contact with family and stressed on what to do if they see her. Will try and speak to family tonight. They are doing a great job and checking any sightings out and postering the areas. Come on Millie we want you home. Jan x

- Couple of sighting of Millie around sand dunes at 7.30 ths morning. Owner notified and out there now looking and handing out posters. Bumping.

- Why not put your dogs photo on a board nailed to a post and stand or walk in a busy place for maximum public attention. Getting a loud hailer and handing out missing dog leaflets at the same time. Ask friends and family to help out at what is going to be the busiest shopping weeks of the year when the public will be out and about.
