had a phone call yesterday from a guy in Buttershaw, Bradford saying that he thinks he has seen kobe (or a husky that looks like him) around his house. he lives near the tesco on halifax road and has said he will try and grab the dog the next time he see's it. i have drove around the area looking but as of yet i haven't seen anything , i will continue to keep looking.

Ive contacted the number i got given and it appears that it wasn't kobe but another missing husky which i believe has now been reunited with its owner but thank you.

u dont know me but i just saw your pic on facebook as a husky owner I can only imagine how sad u feel to have lost your dog, I dont know if this will help but I saw an advert on a website called preloved.co.uk a while ago from a couple in halifax who had found a female grey husky wondering the streets and took it in and advertised the found dog on the website, I dont know if the advert is still there but it might be worth checking out hun good luck xxx

i think its a good lead :) Hope it helps xxx

Sorry to hear about Kobe, as a husky owner myself i can sympathise with your worries. We live in BD6 area, and you can be sure we will keep an eye out for him on our travels. have you contacted Siberian Husky Welfare yet? Most rescues contact them about found pets, here's the link: http://www.shwauk.org.uk/ If you go to their forum area and pop a post on, a moderator will get back to you. Also it may be useful to contact any local farmers, as a husky will attack livestock, at least they will be aware of your pet. I do hope he finds his way back to you soon. Louise.

We will display your poster in our Tack and Pet shop in Birkenshaw BD11 and will keep our eyes open, we have only yesterday recovered our own stolen dog so know how you are feeling - poster everywhere you can think of, ours came home through a poster at B n M in Bradford being seen.

Have texted owner with advice regarding postering as much as possible and stray kennels. He has already phoned the kennels and vets, and nothing at the moment. I'll take posters to Pets @ Home in Bradford, Shearbridge Vets and the PDSA.
