Jennie - am just stating the minimum LEGAL REQUIREMENT for dogs in England (not sure if this also applies to Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland).Last edited: 2010-12-11 21:04:32 by Millys Mum

Im not really comfortable putting all that information on my dogs tag, if he was stolen, its like a open invite to to the people who stole him to come and burgle my house too! I have 2 phone numbers only.

Great news. How, where and by whom was he found? We would love to know the reunited details as it may help if other dogs go missing in the same area. I do hope that Tyson will be receiving both a microchip AND an ID tag on his collar as a welcome home present. A collar and an ID tag is actually a legal requirement and should show your surname (NOT the dog's name), your house or flat number, full postal code and preferably 2 telephone contact numbers.

I'm in BR1, but noticed he went missing in Shirley.

Get postering asap, inform your vets, and other local vets. Inform Battersea, and actually go there in person rather than relying on phone calls to them.

Inform Foal Farm in Biggin hill.

Get a poster up in petshops, supermarket notice boards, and target dog walkers in parks. look on all the free ad websites like Gumtree, pets4homes, preloved and nationalmissingpetregister, incase someone has found him and advertised it.

Hope he is home soon.Last edited: 2010-12-09 17:59:45 by ellejay
