- Hi, sorry but I don't know anything really about this breed i.e how colouring alters as they grow. But I found this while looking. http://www.freeads.co.uk/uk/pets/dogs/siberian_husky/8336473/husky-pups-kc-reg-ready-now/view Price has also gone up????
- 2011-01-08 22:12 caz thompson
- it could also be a scam someone not really selling them but wanting money for pups i had this problem when searching for a sibe for my mum they told me that they were in london and were free as and i quote "my wife has died in a horriffic car accident and i cant manage them on my own anymore" when i contacted them and told them i could collect the puppy they changed their tune saying they had moved away so ill need to send the money for shipping and the puppy will be deliverd through my door lol they even went as far as sending a fake print out of the airline to use to the air craft was clearly done by a pc when i complained to epupz about this they said i didnt have enough evidance to remove the add i even got my friend to call for one to he said he had both girls and boys left and told me he only had 1 boy left

- How can this ad:
http://www.epupz.co.uk/clas/viewdetails.asp?view=177343: in Cheshire have the same picture as this ad:
http://www.classifieds.co.uk/uk/pets/dogs/siberian_husky/8285583/siberian-husky-pups-/view: in Chard, Somerset
These ads certainly need some serious investigation.

- the same pups are also advertised on the following site: http://www.classifieds.co.uk/uk/pets/dogs/siberian_husky/8285583/siberian-husky-pups-/view.
There is a mobile number to contact the seller which you do not need a membership to view (just click contact seller).
The weird thing is that the location is Chard, which if you click on the map is in down south in somerset but on the epupz site the same pups are advertised with location being Cheshire - not near at all!
It may be completely innocent but seems quite strange - 2011-01-07 18:07 fruitbat49
- I have contacted the seller via 'Mobiya' but as yet haven't received either a phone call or text from said seller!
If and when I do I will report back.
~ Kaz ~ - 2011-01-07 16:49 AlisonH
- jo I have sent you an email.
- 2011-01-06 13:29 jo
- I am a 'premium' member so could make contact straight way!
I have just had a quick look at owner's details...it gives her name and town! no phone number or address...so not even wanting premium members to have direct contact. It says to send an email via 'epupz'! Before I do i don't want to miss any important questions out so any help would be appreciated. Thanks - 2011-01-06 10:42 fruitbat49
- I've been a member of Epupz for years but unfortunately and only a basic member so can only reply to ads once they are 7 days old. We need a Premier Member to reply to the ad.
However, obviously, when the ad IS 7 days old I will answer the ad - see what they have to say.
~ Kaz ~ - 2011-01-06 00:59 caz thompson
- hi i have checked out the add to and they are very simular can anyone try contact the so called owner to find out if they have any left and ask them to send more clearer pics of the puppies? im not able to as i dont have a full membership but if anyone can get as much info off them as possible that would be a great help to this distraught owner im very sorry about what has happened and really hope u get them home safe and sound very soon xx

- The same puppies are advertised for sale on another site, where they say the pups are 8wks old.
http://www.mobiya.co.uk/view/tagjgpwp
fingers crossed for positive results! - 2011-01-05 20:49 Deb4gsd
- I have also just had a look at the ad and photo and must admit would be very suspicious about these pups. The markings are too similar to be ignored. Also, if selling pups why would you use such a poor quality photo unless trying to hide/disguise something? bit concerned about where the poor pups are being kept. This person says pups have been hand reared because of Mum's death, but these pups would have been hand reared if stolen. Also they have answered yes when it asks if parents can be seen, but then says later about Mum's death. This person says they are not a breeder either so no past litters to check back on or there reputation as a breeder. As for the ears being erect, the stolen pups would be 6-7wks old now and ears would/could be erect. My brothers Husky as a pup had erect ears at 6wks.
- 2011-01-05 20:48 Reynard
- This is being checked out , thanks guys you are our Eyes & Ears, keep it up you fab helpers xxx
- 2011-01-05 09:32 jo
- advert is well worth checking....picture not very good at all which cud be a giveaway! If it is them the darkest pup has been left out for obv. reasons. Need to be careful on this though..the owner has been verified member since 2007 and all pups will have had 1st injections! They are maybe too old to be the stolen pups, these ones here already have erect ears!!
- 2011-01-04 21:45 fruitbat49
- I would agree with 'wirral groomer' . . the white one and the two behind and to the left look very very similar. I mean, look at the markings on their forehead.
Like I said in another post, husky facial markings are very distinct!!
Definitely worth a check!!!
Fingers crossed these little mites have been found!
~ Kaz ~ - 2011-01-04 20:31 wirral groomer
- hi ive just checked that add. Oh my god they look far too similar in there markings and a pure white one. fingers crossed its them and the seller gets what they deserve.

- This is absoloutly terrible! Who would be so cruel to put these puppies in risk at such a young age? I hope you find them soon!
- 2011-01-04 12:28 AlisonH
- Bumped to the top as they were featured in last nights evening telegraph.
- 2011-01-04 09:49 fruitbat49
- Every lead is worth checking out! Husky facial markings are like our fingerprints, very individual.
I know markings can change a little but the main shape/colour will still be there ~ Kaz ~ - 2011-01-04 09:05 AlisonH
- Thanks folks. All the links you are sending are being checked out but so far no match.

- Let's hope some info surfaces very soon . . . five puppies can't just disappear - someone, somewhere obviously knows who has them and where they are.
I assume the police are doing all they can as are the dog wardens in the areas?
~ Kaz ~ - 2010-12-27 18:05 AlisonH
- Just contacted owner to find out if the press coverage brought any news but sadly she hasn't had one single call about the puppies. To make matters worse the puppies mum keeps trying to run off to find them so she's having to be kept locked indoors.

- Thank you fruitbat49. just wish we could get some info. Being so young the puppies will have to visit a vet let's hope we get a call soon.Last edited: 2010-12-25 16:05:21 by AlisonH

Hopefully someone will come forward with a lead to their whereabouts once they realise how young they are. Will email my friend in the area, loads of good wishes for these pups.
