I have just had a call from one very happy owner ...........SUNNY HOWARDBROWNE is HOME !!!!!!!!Well done RachelJane he WAS the dog mentioned in the post on Animal Search !! We passed the details of that post onto Sunny's owner and she sent a message through to them. Sunny had been going to the garden of an elderly lady for food but she had been unable to catch him so she contacted the Dogtrust and it was someone from there who had put the post on the Animal Search website. Since that post was made the lady had been able to grab hold of Sunny by his collar and the dogtrust had picked him up from her. They asked Sunny's owners if they could get some photos of him over to them and once they saw them they were pretty sure it was him so his owners webt over to collect him last night. This boy had travelled quite a way to where he was found and his owners were amazed he had done this! He has lost some weight but otherwise seems to be okay. They have ordered a new tag for him from the dogtrust and Sunny will be going to get a chip asap. I am just so delighted that this boy is home and one again well done to Racheljane for spotting the post on Animal Search ! Sunny's owners said they are extremely grateful for the help they have had from doglost in finding Sunny. welcome home Sunny and please stay safe from now on xxxLast edited: 2010-12-20 13:54:42 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Bumped due to possible SIGHTING of Sunny at 1am yesterday 18th Dec in a garden a few streets away from where he lives. Man who saw the dog is going to keep looking out for it and try to contain him if possible. Last edited: 2010-12-19 13:04:15 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Have spoken to Sunny's owners tonight. Sunny ran off from home at around 4am and his owner was quickly out to search for him but he just seemed to vanish. A few people have come forward with possible sightings of him soon after he ran off. His owners have been out searching for him, have informed vets, dog wardens and stray kennels. They have been postering locally and are now beginning to poster in a wider area. Sunny is not a dog that normally wanders and may well have travelled out of the area he is familiar with or as he is such a friendly boy he may have been taken in by someone. If someone has taken him in they are required by law to report this to the dog warden.Hoping he is back home very soon ~ PamLast edited: 2010-12-17 21:44:01 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
