- Other Info He is approx 16 years old and a little blind & deaf. Has 'MONTY' in silver letters on his collar. MICROCHIPPED. Much missed family pet. PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR HIM!!!

Thanks Badger for the information greatly appreciated. There was Jake (link above), he is a totally blind JRT and he was out in the bad weather for 10 days!! When his finders found him he was just as you have said and they thought the worst as he was not moving until they went right up to him. He was reunited with is very relieved family and was o.k. - Although many miles away from where Monty was lost I have been following his story. If it helps at all - one of my dogs is blind and deaf and is usually very good at finding her way around the house/garden but if she does become disorientated she will just sit/lie down until we go to her. Could Monty be waiting somewhere for someone to find him and take him home. I do hope so.

- Info/advice emailed last night to owner along with Scenting Instructions in case required. Owner has replied. DW and the kennels where Monty would be taken to have been contacted. Will do various size posters for owner a.s.a.p.

- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
