- Well done to the shopkeeper. Shame on the people who tried to keep him. What are people like ?? Stupid or what !! You cant just keep a dog without reporting it,go and get one of your own!!

- So pleased to hear that Harvey has been reunited with his family! How selfish some people are! Surely the people who found him must have known that he was a much loved family pet and not some unwanted stray. They should have looked for the owners straight away. A happy ending anyway :-)

- I bet a lot of the dogs on here are with people who have just decided to keep them. It makes me mad. Glad he his home good job it was just before they moved. Hope they can rehome a dog from the pounds there are many looking for homes

- Very happy to reunite Harvey. thank you so much shop keeper, who without their help the owner would never have know where he was. When will people understand that it is a criminal offence not to report a found dog to the authorities. How many more slip the net. Welcome home Harvey. Last edited: 2010-12-23 19:20:04 by Spindle

- There is quite a similar looking dog at Strayaid, http://www.strayaid.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=11&Itemid=17, under the found dogs list. Worth checking out, Natalie

- I cross-posted this on London & Borders Greyhounds yesterday and someone else has posted this on the Brighton area RGT forum. Let's hope someone has taken him in from the cold & will be making contact very soon.
