- Other Info Max is 11 yrs old, although he looks alot younger, and sometimes had a limp to one of his front legs. He is on medication.

- black lab found near foulden has been confirmed by friend as being a dog (not a bitch) and is thought the have slight brownish shading on its back, has been taken to a local pub. friend is informing max's owners of whereabouts just incase its max

- There's a black lab on Faith Animal Rescue - Norfolk called Sol - brought in as a stray. Looks younger but worth a look

- Have heard back fom the owner's daughter and sadly the dog at West End Farm Kennels is not Max. She tells me that although Max is 11 he looks a lot younger,and sometimes had a limp to one of his front legs. I have added this information to his page

- Thanks Lizzy I have been trying to contact the Manchester Dogs Home, I will try again later. Although it does say that Phil was picked up at the beginning of December on their web-site and Max wasn't lost until 20th Dec but I will still contact them

- There is a 11 year old black lab at Manchester dogs home taken in as a stray. I know it is quite a distance away but dogs do get transported.

- Have spoken to the owner's daughter and Max is still missing. I have suggested that she rings the Dog Warden and local pounds again tomorrow just to remind them that Max is still missing. The owner's and friends are still keepimg his profile high in the hope that they hear some news very soon x

- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
