Fantastic news poor girlie, hope she will have a full recovery & perhaps she needs one of those homing devices if she is inclined to go down hole's as a belated Christmas pressy :) Welcome home Freya xxxs

Freya was found yards from where she went missing when a dog walker couldn't get her dog to stop barking - the dog had found Freya drinking from a small stream. Freya was filthy dirty, breathing badly but alert. We got her straight to the vets and for a while it was close but this morning the news is she's up and eating and should make a full recovery. The last week has been a nightmare but thanks to so many people's help, support and kindness, here on Doglost and in the wider community, we have got through it and Freya will be rejoining her family. I wish those still searching the luck we had.

Woo Hoo. So so happy to reunite this little girls. She was found in area she was lost drinking out stream. Filthy dirty, sure she has dug herself out hole after dropping weight. Currently at vet because dehydrated and cold. Willupdate when I know more and in few days hopefully get photo. I have to say big thank you to our helper Lashes, to the finder and such credit to a brilliant owners who have worked tirelessly, out in all weathers. Welcome home Freya. Made my day.

Back to work today but Ian has carried on the search. He checked Castle Hill at first light but no luck and our sons went out later. Placed Lost notice in Blackmore Vale Magazine and have contacted developer of the Brow to try and get full access to the fenced off site instead of just looking/shouting through the fences. Got posters printed and numerous town centre shops have kindly placed in their windows. Had hoped for a call from a vet or sanctuary today but no news. Lets hope for more positive news tomorrow. We'll be out listening again tonight.

Today's progress ... been back to the place she went missing this am, concentrated on putting up posters in local villages this pm. Great to see a Dog Lost helper has already put up a poster at one location :-) Contacted local kennels, and animal rescue centres further afield. Will go out again soon with our other dog, then later to listen again when there is less noise. Hoping to hear some positive news tomorrow when the world goes back to work.

Where do i start ? Since Freya has gone missing our world has been turned upside down. Each day now consists of an early morning search where she went missing, taking a break around lunchtime then back out again until it's dark, either searching where she went missing or walking miles searching anywhere we think she may be. The evenings are spent following up suggestions made by Lynn, and tending to our many bramble scratches, bruises and sore feet. Before we go to bed we go out one more time, for a late night visit. At night our Patterdale Terrier now sleeps on the bed, in case Freya returns in the night and scratches at the door.

Will be postering today too in familiar dog walking areas to alert fellow dog walkers.

I shared her and also contacted my local rescue contacts incase she was taken in, or they had any calls about 1. Will get postering as soon as shops open. Will keep an eye out for her fb page when they make it

Thank you beckyatthebeer for posting. Owner is going to set up facebook page for Freya too. They have been out most of yesterday and all day today. No sign. Wondering if she has been picked up and taken home. Given owner more suggestions.

I have posted a link to Freya on my Facebook page and it has been cross posted by a few friends who live locally.
