Great news, this boy was returned home on Monday! Owners absolutely thrilled. Supposedly 'found' in some woods but we're not entirely convinced but who cares, he's home. Owners realise how lucky they are to have both of their dogs back despite neither being chipped. Both now are chipped!

UPDATE: The stolen Springer was a match to the found dog we had on site so he's safely back home where he belongs. This boy, the COCKER SPANIEL, is sadly still missing.

The Springer was found in Little Dunmow so he could be in a similar area.

Will be sorting a similar photo for the posters shortly.

I have spoken to the owner this evening who was put in touch with us by owners of now reunited BC Spike.

Both these dogs were stolen from their run on 22nd Dec.

Police have issued CRN and have been investigating - taking finger prints etc. We had snow in the area at the time of theft and tyre marks and footprints easily seen. Owner has also had local paper Essex Chronicle in touch and they are doing a story, and BBC Essex and Hert Radio have done appeals.

Owners have put posters up etc but haven't yet contacted local councils so I will be sending all the numbers over.

NO PHOTOS available of these 2 but I will be adding similar ones shortly.

THINK WE MAY HAVE A MATCH FOR THE SPRINGER SPANIEL - BELIEVE HE IS FOUND DOG ID 27107. OWNERS NOW IN TOUCH WITH THE KENNELS AND WILL BE VISITING TOMORROW. DESCRIPTION AND DISTINGUISHING MARKS AND BEHAVIOUR THAT ONLY OWNER WOULD KNOW MATCH - FINGERS CROSSED, WOULD MAKE MY DAY AND BE A GREAT START TO 2011!!!!
