- Well done David! I quite understand where he is coming from on the torch thing- many a time we have been out looking and you do feel very conspicuous lol. Once had a sighting of a cocker spaniel we had been searching for and was searching near the bins of the nursing home where she had been sighted- only to get caught red handed by the kitchen staff looking like i was going through their bin store... very embarrassing.(dont worry you get used to it hehe)Would be lovely for David to stay on as a helper- we could use a lot more helpers like him who go the extra mile. Welcome home Tina xxx

- I'm so pleased to hear that this sweet little girl is back 'home' safe and sound. And what a truly, caring and wonderful person David is. He's definately one of our very special doggie heros! I do hope he will stay on as a Helper because we could certainly do with people like him around the streets of North London. Welcome 'home' Tina and I hope she finds herself a lovely new home and caring family very soon.Last edited: 2011-01-04 11:20:05 by Millys Mum

- I'm glad to be the bearer of good news! Tina is home, none the worse for wear :))
David went out again last night for a few hours but had no sightings. He went back again this morning about 5am and saw Tina. She ran like the wind and was very skittish. He followed but lost her, then saw her again in Irvine Close. Didn't want to go in heavy handed, so he got his car and slowly followed Tina and eventually got to some garages where there was a dead end. He sat and kept eye, had a quick coffee and she was within 6ft of him and he was able to get her by the collar :) Tina was a bit scared and snappy but David got a lead on her, took her home to the fosterer and sat on their doorstep until around 7am when they got up! David the hero aye? I will get him to sign up to DogLost as he really does go that extra mile for the animals. The only thing he found concerning was nosing around people's gardens with a torch at that time of the morning...he said he was worried about getting nicked he he. Thanks everyone for all your help (again) and you can turn this little lady to BLUE! - 2011-01-03 22:11 Rileys Mum

- Oakleigh Road North, N20. I think locally it's called the Whetstone area and I think it comes under Barnet.

- Tina is very small and looks around 6 months old. She is very shy and has not bonded with the foster yet, as she has only been there 36 hours. She escaped through the front door and the latest sighting was a 2pm today in Oakleigh Crescent. Tina is a rescue dog who was saved from PTS and still has her stitches in from her recent spay. Tina is chipped but there is no ID tag on her collar??? Out of hours dog warden has been contacted. I'm doing posters at the mo and will try and find out who else has been contacted. Will update with any news.
